A Restaurant Server Received A Whopping $10,000 Tip

Nursing student Alaina Cluster works at Sup Dogs in Greenville, North Carolina, part time to help pay for college. And last Friday, she received a life-changing amount of tip money during her shift: $10,000. But instead of keeping it all for herself, she decided to share the stack of cash with her coworkers.It turns out it was all a YouTube stunt, but the cash was totally real. YouTuber Mr Beasr explains to his more than eight million subscribers he is visiting several different restaurants and will increase the tip he gives with each stop as part of the stunt.He starts out with a penny tip, but by the time he reaches Cluster's workplace, he orders water, leaves a $10,000 tip, and walks out."I'm about to cry," Cluster says around the 8:30 mark. She was puzzled about why someone would leave such a big amount of tip money.

“I thought someone was playing a joke on me,” Cluster told today about the stunt. “I wasn’t that excited, I just said, ‘What? What is this?’"

Cluster she gave $200 to each server working during the shift, $100 to each server who wasn't in, and kept the remaining $800 for herself.“That could’ve been like anybody on my shift, you know,” Cluster added. “I didn’t do anything to deserve that much money. I wanted to split it up and be fair with everybody.”

In an interview with local newspaper the news observer Cluster explained just how much the money meant for the entire staff.

I was so blessed to have that money,” she said. “I mean, most of us that work at Sup Dogs are broke college kids and that’s going to help me out so much. We got to all split it up, which will help a lot of people.”
